It's felt like fall off and on the last few weeks and today marks the first official day of the season. There have been days I had to break out the winter clothes... turn on the heat... and I'm back into my winter cooking of hearty meals and slow coked soups. I first saw the touch of autumn in the aspen leaves three weeks ago. Now the colors of fall blanket the surrounding mountains and tonight they are predicting snow! I know a few friends that are not ready for this yet... but I'm so ready for fall and for ski season to begin.
